楊新平，漢族，河南省許昌市人，大專文化，1949年出生，1969年參軍，1970年加入中國共產(chǎn)黨?，F(xiàn)為：中國當(dāng)代著名毛體書法家、國禮藝術(shù)家、中國國賓禮藝術(shù)家，中原毛體書法院主席、中國楹聯(lián)學(xué)會書法藝術(shù)研究會書畫專家、國家高級書法師、中國互聯(lián)網(wǎng)聯(lián)盟全國外聯(lián)部主任。其書法作品被中華人民共和國國賓禮美術(shù)鑒定委員會潤格為20萬/平方尺。
